NH Water Treatment Systems

Point-of-Use and Point-of-Entry Water Systems Installed by Capital Well

Installing Evolve water filter systems in your New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine home may be one of the best decisions you make when it comes to your family’s health. Some water problems are obvious, such as foul odors or red, green, blue, and brown staining. Looks are deceiving, however; radon, arsenic, and other harmful minerals are invisible, so that clear water might not be as pure as it appears.

Because clear does not always mean clean.

When considering well water treatment systems, two categories are commonly spoken of:

What’s the difference? Point-of-entry systems treat all the water in your home or facility, literally at the point of entry into the building. Hard water and chlorine, for example, are typically treated with point-of-entry systems because, in the case of hard water, scale can build up in plumbing fixtures and hot water tanks. Chlorine, on the other hand, is common in municipal water supplies as a disinfectant, but can create a foul odor or taste, and therefore should be treated before moving on to your showers and water faucets and laundry.

Point-of-use well water filtration systems are designed to treat drinking water, and as such are usually attached directly to the faucet or underneath the sink. There are a number of different types of point-of-use water filters, each of which serves a unique purpose depending on your particular problem: reverse osmosis devices, activated carbon filters, distillers, ion exchange devices, and the standard well water treatment systems you frequently see on television.

Capital Well Clean Water Center is a certified Evolve water filter dealer, and not just any company gets to install Evolve systems. Of the water treatment systems available, Evolve water filters are a one-stop solution for treating and purifying your water. The others may only resolve one or two water problems, leaving you to find yourself shopping around for additional solutions.

Even if you’re on a public water system, you should consider a well water filtration system. We now offer the EVRC Water System, a new way to Kick City Water Problems to the Curb, and Clear Flo, an advanced system for healthier drinking water. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suggests having your water tested once a year, whether you’re on a private well or using city water. Detecting nitrates, coliform bacteria, and other contaminants early is crucial, especially since they may take years to fully flush out. This doesn’t mean we’ll recommend you install or replace your current well water treatment systems, but you’ll gain the peace of mind knowing your water is clean. That yearly test is also a good time for a filter cleaning.
